Red Rock Canyon Campground is located two miles east of the Visitor Center on west Charleston Boulevard (State Route 159) and then one mile south on Moenkopi Road. On top of that, the Ice Box Canyon Trail spans 2.3 miles and is one of the easier to take within Red Rock Canyon park.Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area has one developed campground. The Turtlehead Peak Trail is another excellent option for tourists, offering 4.6 miles of stunning desert views, petroglyphs, and plenty of open space. For example, one popular trail here, the Calico II Sandstone Quarry Visitor Center Trail, is roughly 2–6 miles in length (depending on how a hiker walks it), often keeping people walking for 1.5-3.5 hours. However, each trail is different, varying in length and difficulty. Generally, it takes visitors around three hours to experience the park.
